Features
a full bodied, ruby red wine and of a complex structure. This wine shows an unmistakable mediterranean smell: intense nose with lures of black cherry, the spiciness of coffèe, hints of carobs and sweet tobacco are deliciously interweaved. A clear memory of black olive and thyme make its bouquet definitely complete. On the tongue its flavor is full, pleasantly enveloping, pleasantly fresh and an elegant savory line. Well balanced in the warmth and the tannins is easy to drink despite its complex structure.
Recommendation
ideal with the typical local meat rolls named "Bombette" (little bombs) made with beef, with meat cooked with tomato sauce, or with traditional eggplant parmigiana" style recipe.
